So you get that there is a whole lot here and there will be discussions well beyond this moment concerning these integral aspects of living, right?
Lately I have been thinking a lot about rights. Our rights. My rights, your rights and the right to those rights without infringing upon the rights of others.
Now on Becoming Today, we’ll review and expand upon these inherent, inalienable, irrevocable rights and also the responsibilities we must undertake and share in order to preserve them.

I know I’ve been talking about looking at things quite differently than society would suggest we need to. But that is why being uncommon is so necessary.
As we enter this time of Transformative Transition, it’s urgent that we begin to accept the possibilities of and work to achieve extraordinary results.
I hold these truths to be self-evident, that all people are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. However they do not end here. I further assert that these God given birthrights also include being treated with Compassion, Dignity and Respect at all times. That mercy, forgiveness and Grace shall be adopted and accepted by all traveling along this shared path of “Becoming”.

The individual ways in which you can realize your own Transformative Transition will vary greatly, as no two people are alike, nor are we created to be the same. Embracing our differences and affording each other the compassion, dignity and respect which we are due ourselves will help us to form our own maps along this journey.
For myself I am ready to become a Butterfly. To spread my wings and take flight to higher altitudes with better attitudes, more clearly defined actions and pollinating creation with as much love as humanly possible.
Let’s agree to understand we have the opportunity to undertake a period of life altering change. Fostering growth, unlocking new opportunities, learning new behaviors and coming into acceptance with new ways, attitudes and truths. It is a time in which we can choose to alter our realities for the better.
Sounds good to me. As I’ve shared often this year, I have no desire and truly see no reason to go back. Back to normal? When in your lifetime has everything ever truly seemed normal? And what exactly does that mean.?
While we all hear rhetoric about getting back to the good old days of 2019, I believe we should all be focused on becoming our future. Making this moment our best ever and living aspiring for even better days ahead.
And I know I’m not alone if you look in the right places. Others are talking about the opportunities and advancements these past nearly 18 months of unexpected shifts have taught us.
In My Declaration of Independence I assert:
Therefore be it resolved from this moment on, that we who are traveling along this shared path of “Becoming” committ to taking actions, deliberate and responsible initiatives to do our part to work for the well being of all.
To support compassion, dignity, respect, mercy and understanding of all individuals regardless of their race, gender, color, creed, demographic or any other way the “dividers” try to profile and categorize us for their purposes of intentional disunity.
We refuse to submit blindly to disrespectful, unhealthy and abusive behaviors, attitudes and policies.
We choose to pursue a course that enlightens, invokes and advances ‘’the process of coming to be something or of passing into a state”. Coming to be always, “Becoming”. Growing, developing and shifting into an attitude and daily practice of “Always Being Becoming”.
In good conscience I can no longer sit idly by nor remain silent. Understanding that I am not alone in my growing discontentment with the status quo and not wanting to continue being a victim of abusive and disrespectful behaviors and actions, the time has come for action.

A local, national, global shift in consciousness and conscience enabling the rights of the individual to be heard, shared, freely communicated and restored to the levels our Creator intended.
We are being granted the potential for momentous change and growth. Are you ready? I ask each and everyone of you, are you willing to accept this time of “Transformative Transition” and join me in seeing it’s Becoming?
As we embrace our time of uncommonness, just as the biological explanations of metamorphosis note we are accepting a profound change from one stage to the next in our lives. This can entail a complete change of form, structure, or substance, as well as differences in our appearance, character and intentionally intervening to react differently and either accept or deny your present circumstances.
In every stage of these Oppressions We have been enduring, we must petition for Redress in the most humble terms We must repeat and repeat again if necessary our calls for change, demanding that they no longer be answered by repeated injury.

It is important to know your rights so that when; and more and more they are actively trying to; take them away, you can stop them. You have a responsibility to understand and accept what your rights are . While also endeavoring to always be respectful of the rights of others.
Remember there are no rights without responsibilities.
So what is the difference between rights and responsibilities?
A right is a privilege granted by an authority. Be it elected or appointed bodies of governance or by supernatural means, of an inherent nature bestowed upon us by the Grace of God.
A responsibility is a duty or obligation that is accepted, and put into action.
In order to fully accept your reality, you must take ownership of any role you may have played, good or bad, in leading you to where you are. Only when you choose to accept personal responsibility then can you work on decisions for the next steps.
In order to develop a deep sense of personal responsibility we need to practice acceptance.
Accept Yourself. Embrace the ability to unconditionally love all aspects of who you are. Both the positive and negative.Do not become overly critical. It all starts with the proper attitude.
Accept that Accepting Reality is not the easiest thing to do. However acceptance of your current scenario will ultimately make you happier in the present , which then leads to a better future. Accepting your reality will help you choose your steps properly and keep the momentum moving forward and upward.
Accept Truthful and Complete Honesty. When you get past your ego, then you can allow for the creation of a beautiful new you. Denial will not make the negative go away.
Accept Your Mistakes. You can’t fix anything until you acknowledge you have a problem. Look at your mistakes not as failures but as learning opportunities. Rely on the power within for the strength to co-create your reality. Also accept we all make mistakes and always will.
Accept Ownership. Own all of it. Not just the challenges but also your strengths and success. Taking ownership of all your outcomes can teach you to do better, and that overcoming leads to a learning moment.
Accept Power Over Your Fears. Do not let fear rule. Fears of what others think of you, fear of making a decision, fear of not being popular, is all demoralizing. It adds nothing to your experience. Realize that “they” will criticize, judge you, or ridicule you no matter what, so who cares?
Accepting responsibility empowers your rights ensuring your continued growth and development along our shared path of Becoming.

I began this post by pointing out that this is the first of a multi-part discussion of our rights and responsibilities.
